The Vryburg PB 61′ by Altena is a well-proportioned mini mega yacht designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder, combined with traditional and modern elements. The round-bilged hull has a modern transom, classic flared bow and a light sheer.
The wide gangways are level with the aft and foredeck and are surrounded by a robust stainless steel guard rail, which improves safety.

The Fly can be reached via a staircase from the wheelhouse and offers space for a steering position with a spacious seat, a boat crane with dinghy, a possible motorcycle on deck is also possible.
The bathing platform can be reached via a staircase at the transom.

Reliable technology

In 1695 the Dutch East India Company built the Vryburg in the city of Middelburg. At that time, it was common for a ship not to return from a voyage to the East. The Vryburg proved resilient. This ship was in service for 27 years and made many successful round trips.
The first Vryburg PB 61′ by Altena was built in 2015.
The yacht is a real eye-catcher due to the sturdy look and robust design. As you step into the saloon and cabins, you will find a surprisingly light and luxurious interior, with all the modern comforts one could wish for. The advanced hull design ensures lower fuel consumption, which in combination with the large fuel tanks allows for Atlantic voyages.

Comfort is everywhere aboard a Vryburg yacht. This starts with a spacious salon, equipped with a range of amenities. We also focused on comfort in the other cabins.
Safety is in our DNA and we focus on it from the first draft to the last screw. This starts with a truly seaworthy, round bilge hull design. While much of the equipment is very advanced, we will only work with suppliers who have an excellent track record.
Happiness is the reason why people sail in the first place. Our yachts can be sailed with a crew of only 2 people, which gives you a lot of flexibility and freedom. In addition, we ensure that you can enjoy your journey in silence by means of extensive noise-reducing measures.

Spacious interior

The Vryburg PB 61′ by Altena has a spacious saloon with sofa and fixed table, spacious galley and a wheelhouse with 2 fixed helmsman’s seats.
Everything at 1 floor height, without stairs. You can go down from the wheelhouse.
Downstairs has 2 cabins (1x bunk bed and 1x V-cage), for the guests there is a separate bathroom.
A very spacious owner’s cabin and private bathroom with washing machine and dryer.
Ceilings are made of a soft material, which makes it feel warm.
The engine room is accessed from the master bedroom and a hatch on the aft deck.
By combining wood material with white elements, a classic-modern interior is created, which feels warm and cozy.
