Our shipyard employs a specialist technical team with extensive expertise in engine maintenance, gas installations, (electrical) systems, assembly work, equipment fitting, overhauls, painting and carpentry.

When a yacht arrives at our yard, we begin with a thorough inspection. Based on this, we draw up a plan of action for the repair or replacement of structural and steelwork, such as hull plating, stainless steel stanchions or railings.
In the event of paintwork damage, the yacht is moved into our workshop, where optimal conditions ensure a smooth and durable finish. Depending on the extent of the damage, this can range from spot repairs to completely repainting sections of the yacht. Colours are carefully measured and mixed to minimise colour variations.
We also use this method when repairing steel or aluminium work on the hull or superstructure, where the surface needs to be refinished.
Altena Yachting carries out both minor and major maintenance on your yacht. From an annual service of the main engines to a full preventative inspection of the entire yacht.
During maintenance, we inspect and service items such as engines, generators and heating systems. We also test all key pump systems and, where necessary, apply a new coat of antifouling to the hull.
By carrying out maintenance in a timely and professional manner, breakdowns are prevented and the reliability of your yacht is guaranteed. This ensures that your yacht remains in optimum technical condition, year after year.
