This aluminium CE-B yacht was designed by Theo Werner and is the third yacht to have been built specifically for this owner. It is a semi-displacement yacht (SC) and was developed specifically with a voyage to the Black Sea in mind. It has a double-chine hull, and great attention has been paid to environmental considerations and safety. The owner has always sailed larger vessels, but also wanted to be able to navigate Europe’s inland waterways and, in particular, pass under as many bridges as possible. Hence the low clearance height of just 3.45 metres.
Rhine regulations were taken into account in the design. To sail without a Rhine patent, the waterline length is set at 14.99 metres. The swimming platform is removable, so the total length can easily be increased to 16 metres.
From a technical point of view, the yacht is exceptionally well-equipped. It features two Volvo main engines, a SidePower bow and stern thruster, two generators, two gangways, a watermaker, spud poles and lithium batteries. In addition, the yacht is fitted with a full YachtControl system and an advanced Mastervolt electrical system.
The interior has been fitted out entirely to the owner’s specifications and comprises three cabins and three bathrooms. The entire panelling is made of pear wood, giving the yacht a warm and exclusive feel. The yacht features an owner’s cabin with an en-suite bathroom. It also has two guest cabins, each with its own bathroom.
